With theaters shuttered across the country because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the director and cast of the North Eugene Theater and Film Company have embraced the challenges and opportunities of creating theater with a new medium in a remote learning environment.

In an original episodic production written and produced by the North Eugene Theater and Film Company, 10 high school students come together to take a virtual credit recovery class during the COVID-19 pandemic after having failed Global History. As they learn together, they unravel secrets in their own histories and explore how to navigate complex relationships in a virtual environment.

Tania Aguilar is a sophomore enrolled in North's Spanish immersion program. This is her first production with the drama program, however it won’t be the last. In her free time, Tania likes to play games and draw her favorite cartoon characters. Her favorite shows are “You”, “Dorohedoro” and “Kakegurui”.
Charlotte Bevans graduated from NEHS in the spring of 2020 and is attending her first year at the University of Oregon. Charlotte volunteers to help the drama team and is the assistant director of Zoomed. Her past roles include Sophie in Mamma Mia!, stage manager for Shakespeare in Love, Cathy Seldon in Singin' in the Rain, a mean faerie in She Kills Monsters, and a Doo-Wap Girl in Little Shop of Horrors.
Dylan Danielson is a senior. Zoomed is his 7th production with the North Eugene Drama program. His previous roles include Henslowe in Shakespeare in Love, sound-technician for She Kills Monsters, an ensemble member in Mamma Mia, and a reoccurring pit orchestra member. Dylan juggles his life between theater and band and leads the NEHS Jazz Combo. His future goals are to get a bachelor's degree in sociology and go to law school.
Diana Gray is a junior. She has participated in the drama team for three years. She performed in Mamma Mia!, Singin' in the Rain, and Shakespeare in Love. Diana is skilled in ASL and active in the NEHS choir program.
Alana Macdonald is a senior. She was Viola in Shakespeare in Love, a Brom boy in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Megan and Moaning Mertil in Puffs, and an ensemble member in Little Shop of Horrors. She’s also performed in several community productions. She’s passionate about drama because it pushes her out of her comfort zone and gives her a safe place to explore creative emotional expression. She also loves watercolor painting, dinosaurs, and paleontology.

Liam McIntosh is a junior. He has been a part of the NEHS drama team for three years. He's been an ensemble member in Mamma Mia!, and Shakespeare in Love. Liam loves singing and dancing and looks forward to future productions.
Jackson Neckels is a junior. Zoomed is his first production at NEHS. He recently transferred from Cottage Grove High School where he performed in Macbeth, The Addams Family, and Pride and Prejudice. He loves to sing and act in both plays and musicals. In his free time, Jackson enjoys building Legos and hanging out with his friends.

Trenton faces his failure, and Ms. P. bombs the Zoom sesh!
Logan Sov graduated in the spring of 2020 and volunteers to help with the school's drama program. He is the production editor of Zoomed. Logan has been a part of many NEHS productions. He was Sam in Shakespeare in Love, head digital artist for Singin' in the Rain, an ensemble member in Mamma Mia!, and a set artist for many other productions. He studies art and design at Lane Community College.

Bully, Part 2
The class gets a new student, Ms. P returns, and Lola and Dora have their moment!
Aaron Thomas has been the drama director at NEHS for four years. His past productions include The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Little Shop of Horrors, She Kills Monsters, Mamma Mia!, Shakespeare in Love, and Singin' in the Rain. He also started the North Eugene Ukulele Orchestra. Aaron is a huge fan of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and hopes to one day direct the stage adaptation of John Waters' Hairspray. When he's not teaching, he loves to play music, read, and spend time with his family.
Benjamin Walker is a freshman. Zoomed is his first production with the drama team.
Elisabeth Walker is a senior. She performed in She Kills Monsters, Small World (a one-act play), and Puffs, as well as Annie, Mary Poppins and various plays at church. Elisabeth also performed in the orchestra pit. She played piano for Mamma Mia!, Shakespeare in Love, and Singin' in the Rain.

The Party
Dylan hosts a socially-distanced party! The teens cut loose in this fun, dramatic episode.
Teresa Wolcott is a sophomore. She played many parts as ensemble in Shakespeare In Love. She is an active participant in drama club and can’t wait to get back on stage. Teresa is also in choir, and she loves singing. In her free time, you can find her reading, drawing, sewing, dancing, and of course singing.
